In 1846 S. Veals was established in Bristol. Over the years it became Bristols premier fishing tackle retailer. In the 1960's they began a mail order service and this was developed to the extent it proved very difficult to combine the needs of the shop and the mail order business. So in 1992, Veals Mail Order was formed as a totally seperate company, in new larger premises, to provide a dedicated mail order service.
