Impact Lead Rigs
If you normally use the breakaway impact lead then your pretied rigs should be set up so that the hook clips into the leads built in bait clip. This works really well but on odd occastions you find that you may need to use a different style of lead which does not have the built in bait clip. To keep the rig clipped down and the tension correct a good idea is to have some breakaway imps in your tackle box and fit this on the trace between the lead and trace. Bingo a still clipped rig with any lead you care to use.
