The Major Craft TCX – EU rods are a worthy successor to the hugely popular Skyroad series. The TCX – EU rods have been developed in association with UK bass anglers to create a range of rods to cater for the styles of fishing now deployed by modern lure anglers when fishing around the coast of the UK, Ireland and northern Europe.
The rod has been crafted for casting maximum distances with the lighter lures and is well suited to casting hard baits, soft baits and also smaller metal lures. If you want to get a lighter lure as far as possible than the Major Craft Triple Cross TCX-902ML/EU teamed with a 3000 sized reel and light PE braid can blast these lures a surprisingly long way. It is however not all about the casting and the feedback from the lure to the rod is superb and once you get the take the rod has the back bone to both set the hook and then play the fish to the shore.
The slim but powerful high modulus carbon blank has added carbon tape to give improved action without excess weight. The regular fast action loads well and remains crisp even when cast with power.
The Major Craft Triple Cross TCX-902ML/EU Custom looks and feels superb and is finished with quality Fuji S-SiC K series FRAME guides, Fuji VSS reel seat and light weight abbreviated EVA handle.
