Developed by Colmic in close collaboration with the most famous competitors of the Surfcasting scene, the all-new Colmic Actarus 8000 aims to meet the highest requirements in terms of design and technical performance.

The body and rotor of the Colmic Actarus 8000 are made of ultra-light graphite, combining an ultralight aluminum alloy spool with low capacity, so as to give it unique lightness, just think that the spool only weighs 85 g.

The discs of the drag carbon washer brake, with which the ultra-light spool is equipped, allow us to adjust it more precisely and smoothly compared to traditional spools equipped with aluminum discs.
The PARALLEL WINDING SYSTEM allows a perfect loading of the nylon thread turns in the spool, for always smooth release allowing long and precise throws.

With the Colmic Actarus 8000 the traditional low-capacity spool is delivered with a second regular type spool, with a deeper groove for loading thicker diameter threads.

Thanks to the “worm shaft system”, in other words to the endless screw available in the oscillation mechanism of the spool, the loading of the spool is impeccable and perfectly parallel, so as to have excellent nylon thread output when launching, essential for reaching ever longer distances.
