The Gemini Splash Down Sinker is similar to the Gemini Flatback but it incorporates Gemini’s unique ‘Splash Down’ bait release system.
This not only allows you to clip the baited hook in position directly behind the Gemini Splash Down Sinker but also ‘locks’ the hook in place to prevent it from releasing until it hits the sea.
On impact with the sea water pressure pushes up the plastic disc to free the baited hook to ensure perfect presentation.
The Gemini Splash Down Sinker will take hooks up to size 6/0 and it can be used on both single hook specimen rigs and also for multi hook clip down match style rigs.
The Sinker comes ready fitted wit ha Gemini standard grip head but the unique Gemini screw system means that if you wish you can change the head to one of the other Gemini heads to give you either a fixed grip or even plain sinker (extra heads available separately)
