HTO Tempest Range is made from a high-volume 40-ton Japanese carbon, this helps keep the blanks light but ultra-strong and crisp. It aids the recovery, making these the most accurate, distance casting tools HTO ever produced at this price. They’ve further strengthened the blanks by using X-Tec Mesh, this unique wrap protects the integrity of the blank, further enhancing HTO Tempest Range performance and durability.

A wise man once said, “to add speed, add lightness” — to that end, HTO looked at each rod and removed several whippings to reduce their weight, many rods have unnecessary whippings around the reel seats and butt caps. These are merely cosmetic, but add weight. HTO also think this minimalistic style looks cool, too!
