Penn Fathom II 30LW LC Line Counter – FTHII30LWLC
Penn Fathom FTHII30LWLC is based on the popular Fathom FTH30IILW but with a handy line counter built in. The line counter is really useful when fish are feeding off the bottom as it allows you to pin point the feeding zone and drop back to the same depth time after time. The Penn counter has an easy reset button, just push the button down to zero the counter. It also has a sliding ‘wiper’ to clear condensation from the inside of the screen!
It shares the same fishing qualities and tough build of the base model and boasts a full metal body and side plates which give strength. The stainless steel gearing and aluminium spool give you the power needed to play and land large fish. The level wind system has been improved and reinforced.
Penn’s HT100 star drag system gives a smooth and consistent drag to help play fish. Another addition in the Fathom II is Penn’s Fast Gear Access Side plate which with the removal of just four screws allows anglers access to the entire gear box without worrying about losing springs or other small parts making home maintenance a much easier task.
The FTHII30LW is a 30lb to 50lb class reel which is suitable for bottom fishing in deep water when targeting larger fish.
