The Penn International 50VISWS’s new ultra-durable sealed Dura-Drag drag system provides increased drag pressure, smoother use and ensures dependable long lasting service. With regards to the drag operation, a great stand out feature is Penn’s exclusive Versa-Strike. It’s an all new adjustable strike stop. This awesome industry first feature allows customizing of the reel’s strike position to match angling preferences. This is changing the game!

Another major improvement is the new handle arm and grip which were resigned. The new handle now has a great ergonomic knob for comfortable fish fighting grip. The handle’s two speed shift (on 2-Speed Models) was also improved making shifting gears easy and quick.
