Penn Regiment IV Uptide
Penn have a long tradition of making very nice uptide rods and the Penn Regiment IV Uptide is a fantastic example of this.
The Regiment IV Uptide is built on the proven short butt/long tip format that gives a very smooth action. The rod incorporates SLS3 blank assembly, resulting in low weight and thin diameter blank with incredible strength. The tip has just the right amount of give to sit nicely in the tide while still registering small bites as well as slack liners. The tip blends seamlessly into the mid and butt sections to give a fast but progressive action, which just applies more power the harder a fish pulls.
The Penn Regiment IV Uptide will comfortably handle all the normal uptide species of fish you are likely to encounter in the UK and is a joy to use when targetting hounds, rays and cod.
