The Penn Tidal Elite Hybrid K-Type 420 is is the flagship of the PENN Tidal surf casting concept.

These blanks have been years in development. Working together with some of the best experts in Europe, the elite series it built by the elite, to give you the best possibilities you can find in a surf rod. To accomplish this, PENN had to push the boundaries further that they have ever done before. The extreme light blank is made with a combination between 50T carbon and with the addition of Triaxial Multidirectional Weave Structure, PENN accomplished to make a rod with incredible recovery speed, which truly shows on the casting distance.

The Penn Tidal Elite Hybrid K-Type 420 has undergone countless testing sessions – Both in the lab. and in the field. The combination of Fuji lightweight stainless steel K-type frames fitted with durable and light Fuji Alconite rings, creates a rod that does not get weighed down by heavy guides.

The Fuji DPSSD reel seat holds your reel securely and gives the Penn Tidal Elite Hybrid K-Type 420 a quality feel all the way through.
