About Penn
A brand that was initially associated with big game fishing in the states, Penn hit the mainstream here in the UK during the mid 1990’s when they released a range of user friendly mag-braked shore fishing multipliers that featured fast gearing and were predominantly aimed at rough ground fishing. Around the same time, Penn introduced a hugely popular range of shore and boat fishing rods including some top end models designed in collaboration with then world record caster Neil Mackellow. Penn now produce rods, reels, lines, luggage and general accessories for all aspects of sea angling and remain as popular now as they ever have been. Penn is distributed by Pure Fishing in the UK.
