The Samson Lures Candle is a sub-surface lure which works well with a slow jerky retrieve. The slim profile is very similar to a sandeel and the jerky action attracts the attention of any nearby fish. If the fish are in the mood to chase then you can speed the retrieve up and the lure can be worked from just sub surface to right on the top.
The Samson Lures Candle is a long casting surface lure designed to be worked at a medium to fast speed
The lure can be retrieved fast across the surface of the water imitating a fleeing needle type fish.
The lure can also be dropped down and retrieved back to the surface in deep water.
Use the rod tip to create an erratic action with upward/sideways pulls.
Suitable for Bass and a host of overseas species
It has through body wire and 2X trebles for strength and to cope with landing big fish.
