The Shimano Ocea Jigger 2001 NR HG is a high-end deep sea vertical jigging reel built to cope with the hardest fighting fish.

With its full aluminum machine-cut body, over-sized X-Ship gear system and large drag washers Shimano Ocea Jigger 2001 NR HG will work jigs and fight fish drop after drop.
All components are built for heavy use, but the reel is engineered to be light weight for the performance.
Its main target usage, vertical metal jigging depth ranging from 50-300m requires quite difficult ambivalent requirements, weightlessness, smoothness, and toughness, and the New Ocea Jigger achieves them at very high standard, especially its smoothness is amazing.

Incorporating MicroModule gears, Infinity Drive and a cold forged long crank handle, the Shimano Ocea Jigger 2001 NR HG rotational resistance has been successfully reduced by approximately 60%. The new Jigger also features X-Protect so waterproofing capabilities is greatly enhanced as water is prevented from entering the drive gear shaft and spool shaft bearing. On the exterior, a new star shape drag is added to lower the risk of line entanglement in high wind conditions. Minor tweaks have been made to the Hagane Body to give you a more comfortable grip
Its machine-cut body is small and quite easy to hold in palm. SA-RB anti-rust bearings support the reel to perform very smooth even with saltwater.
