Traditionally, when fishing one rod with a tripod, you would need to fish with the rod down one side of the tripod, potentially making it unstable. With the Single Rod Conversion, you can use your two-rod tripod, but when fishing with a single rod, have it fishing down the middle, eliminating any stability issues.
