The Duo Terrif DC-12 Type 1 shallow diving minnow is a classic shallow lure.
With a running depth at about 12″ deep, the Duo Terrif DC-12 Type 1 is a great lure for shallow work and can be retrieved very slowly and will still swim well.
The Duo Terrif DC-12 Type 1 was originally designed as a “Down Cross” lure, this means you cast up and across a flow of water and allow it to drift down as you retrieve it, a deadly practice in tidal gullies and estuaries. Working the lure from shallow water back across any slightly deeper channels can be a killer as the bass lie in the deeper water waiting to ambush any passing prey.
Its very streamlined profile resembles sandeels and other smaller prey species. the slip profile also allows for for great casting distance, even for its 18gm weight.
