Howk Invictus 50-130lb Straight Handle
The Howk Invictus 50-130lb Straight Handle is the ultimate weapon for true big game anglers – built to withstand brutal fights with the ocean’s most powerful predators. Designed specifically for trolling and brumeo (chumming), the Howk Invictus 50-130lb Straight Handle delivers unmatched strength, resilience, and control, ensuring you dominate every battle from start to finish.
At its core lies the Toray Carbon T1K blank, crafted from premium Japanese carbon renowned for its incredible strength-to-weight ratio. The Howk Invictus 50-130lb Straight Handle provides immense power reserves throughout the lower section, while maintaining controlled flexibility in the tip to absorb violent runs and sudden surges. The result is a rod that handles immense drag pressures with ease while keeping the angler comfortable during long, exhausting fights with tuna, marlin, or giant amberjack.
Fitted with Fuji Heavy Duty HBSG SiC guides, the Invictus ensures superior line management under extreme load. These diamond-polished silicon carbide inserts provide exceptional heat dissipation and durability, protecting your line during high-speed runs. The spiral ring configuration eliminates blank twist, reinforcing the rod’s structural integrity and ensuring consistent power transfer under pressure.
The Howk aluminium reel seat delivers absolute security and precision, featuring a double locking system with textured threads that prevent slippage or vibration during heavy drag battles. A high-density fluted EVA handle guarantees a solid, slip-resistant grip – even in wet conditions – while the aluminium gimbal crosspiece ensures perfect fitment in rod holders and fighting belts for total control in the fight.
Aesthetically, the Howk Invictus 50-130lb Straight Handle embodies Howk’s signature elegance and craftsmanship. Its finish transitions from a glossy carbon texture to matte black, inspired by the golden tones of oceanic predators. Every detail, including the embossed Howk logo on the foam grip, reflects precision and pride in craftsmanship.
Built for extreme situations and designed for comfort, this is a rod that doesn’t just perform – it endures.
