Tenryu Namija 960MH

The Tenryu Namija 960MH is a highly responsive and versatile shore rod designed primarily for Sea Bass fishing, offering the perfect balance of casting range, sensitivity, and control. Built to handle lures up to 40g, it is particularly well suited to anglers who rely on precision lure presentation and need a rod that performs consistently across multiple techniques. Specially designed and tailored for European styles and waters.

Featuring a very fast action and exceptional sensitivity, the Namija 960MH excels with a wide variety of soft bait methods. The blank reacts instantly to movement, allowing you to impart subtle action into soft plastics while maintaining direct contact with the lure. This responsiveness makes it equally effective when working hard baits, giving anglers the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing conditions.

At 2.9 metres, the rod provides strong casting performance, helping you reach feeding fish at distance while still maintaining excellent line control throughout the retrieve. This makes it a strong choice for fishing from open shorelines, harbours, and structures where distance and accuracy are key.

Beyond saltwater use, the Namija 960MH also performs exceptionally well when targeting zander in large rivers and canals, where its fast action, sensitivity, and control allow for precise lure work in deeper water and flowing currents.

Despite its length and capability, the rod remains impressively lightweight and comfortable to use, reducing fatigue during long sessions while retaining the strength needed to handle powerful fish.

Designed for anglers who want versatility without sacrificing performance, the Tenryu Namija 960MH is a reliable choice for both saltwater Sea Bass fishing and freshwater predator work.
