This rod is fully built with Fuji alconite guides, finished in metallic green & gold under whippings to butt guide & bottom tip guide with black over whippings & black over whippings to the rest of the tip section. The XT435GT is 14’4 in length & the butt section is a little over 25mm & comes with our new neoprene padded rod bag.

The slightly softer tip version than the full carbon makes  the XT435GT version a J curve action.

After the success of having glass/carbon tips made to fit the XT435 300g rod we then decided to bring a whole new rod out using the butt section from the XT435 but with the new tip section that people were asking for.

The casting rating is 220g, the tip is a mixed blend of carbon & glass that offers great bite detection which is a bit more forgiving than its big brother the XT435 300g. Having a slighter softer tip section than the full carbon XT435 the XT435GT transfers the power down into the butt section much faster when casting & with it having a mix of carbon & glass in the tip it helps reduce the over recovery at the end of a cast (tip wobble).

Although it does have glass in the tip this is still a very powerful rod suited to strong tidal venues with the capability of being used on clean to rough ground (clean because of its good bite detection & rough because of the overall power the rod has)

The fully built is very light in weight but is a heavyweight in its actions & has no problems sending out large baits.

Good all rounder from beaches to heavy ground with strong tides.
